Brusson Mines - Classic Gold Mine

Accompanied by an expert mining guide, you will discover the Gold Mines of Brusson and their history. The visit begins at the Belvedere in front of the underground entrance, then continues inside the Level 7 extraction gallery, allowing an immersion into the important mining reality of Brusson.

A real journey into the past to learn about the geology and distribution of gold veins, the organization and extraction techniques of gold, curiosities and stories of the hard life of miners who have worked in these mines for centuries.

Please note that the ticket office is about a 20-minute walk from the parking lot and is reachable with an easy trail through the woods, identifiable by following the mine signage. It is recommended to arrive at the ticket office 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the visit.

It is recommended to dress in layers as it is very cold inside the gallery with temperatures around 5, 10 degrees.

Visitors are advised that for safety reasons, animals are not allowed on the tours.
