Guided tour of Graines Castle

Meeting under the castle and from there 5 minutes walk
The Castle of Graines, a defensive structure whose appearance was defined during the eleventh century, consisting of a high crenellated tower with a quadrangular plan, a chapel and a wall built along the natural undulation of the land that encloses a large space formerly home to residential buildings.
Of the castle are currently visible the remains of the minor Romanesque church, dedicated to San Martino, and the perimeter walls that delimit the only nave. Admirable also the decorations of the apse and the remarkable vestment, realized in herringbone in some points.
