Departure from the Graines Parking Lot.
The route starts along a dirt road and then follows a beautiful mule track into the stunning Frudière valley, passing through conifer forests, rhododendrons, blueberries, and skimming pastures and old ruins.
The Frudière Lake is located in a basin with bright colors, thanks to the many streams, dense vegetation, last pastures, and the lake’s reflection.
Lunch break at the lake follows.
The return passes by the Lake pastures, Chastellet, and the bridge at the crossroads, following the same path as the outbound trip, which can be alternated with parts of the old mule track.
The route includes a packed lunch, prepared by Il Pranzo di Babette, another location appearing in the film, and transported by the mule during the excursion.
