An exciting visit to the Cogne magnetite mine accompanied by a qualified guide. It will be a journey through the history of the miners and their hard work in one of the highest mining sites in Europe, with over 100 kilometers of tunnels.
The activity begins in front of the Mining Museum (in the Miners' Village area), just above the village of Cogne, with views of Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso.
Visitors will be taken inside the mine on the old train with trailers used by the miners of yesteryear: a real step back in time that will make the visit a unique experience. The itinerary then continues on foot through the numerous tunnels and original facilities, all waiting to be discovered.
