Carnival Torchlight Procession in Torgnon

Who said that a torchlight procession on the snow can only take place during the Christmas holidays?

In Torgnon, a sunny resort in the Matterhorn Valley, this charming event also returns during the Carnival holidays, at the height of the ski season.

Skiers of all ages, including beginners, are invited to meet the ski instructors at 6:00 pm at the cable car square in the town centre.

A long, glowing serpent of lights will make its way down the slope to the village centre, illuminated by the warm glow of LED torches. At the end of the descent, a lively celebration awaits, with DJ music and hot chocolate.
