The excursions into the Natural Reserve are organized by the Department of Environment, Transport and Sustainable Mobility. The Mrontagnayes Natural Reserve develops from the 1573 metres the valley floor. The valley is located at the bottom of the Buthier stream, and offers hikers the typical landscapes of the local alpine and subalpine environment. The climb to the mountain pastures Arp Damon and l’Aquelou (Tsa) will aloe you to observe mixed forests from spruce and larch-trees, up to pastures and grasslands, rich in species of rare flowers.
