Cime Bianche valley

Departing from the hamlet of St Jacques des Allemands, we climb towards the small village of Fiery, discovering the history of its historic hotel. We then slowly ascend through ancient mountain pastures towards the Varda plateau. We will follow paths that were once an ocean, surrounded by glaciers and Dolomite-like peaks, to reach the Mase mountain pasture at 2,300 meters: an iconic high-altitude mountain pasture.

Elevation gain: 700 m (2300 ft)

Difficulty: E - hiking

Minimum number of participants: 8

Required equipment: Hiking boots in excellent condition; backpack to hold a water bottle/thermos; layered clothing appropriate for the season and a rain/wind jacket; packed lunch; hiking poles recommended.
