The hike along this stretch of the Via Francigena is recommended to curious hikers and adventurous travellers, persons rich in faith, who want to follow the footsteps of Sigeric, archbishop of Canterbury, who in 900 left England to reach Rome, final destination of this historic pilgrimage.
Meeting time: 2.30 p.m. at the Roman bridge in Saint-Vincent - expected return: late in the afternoon
Characteristics of the itinerary: 6 kilometres length, height difference 200 metres
Recommended equipment: trekking poles, trekking shoes or trekking boots, rucksack with snacks, thermos with water or other non-alcoholic drinks, cap, sunscreen
