The exhibition area of the Savoy Castle is located in the building that was originally used as a garage for Queen Margaret of Savoy’s car, near the entrance to the castle.
The facility is equipped with multimedia supports and panels dedicated to alpine flora and to the history of the castle: noteworthy is the short film about the alpine gardens in the Aosta Valley, which also regards the castle’s botanical garden.
While waiting for the guided tour of the castle, visitors can find here useful information on its origins and on Queen Margaret, as well as curiosities on the natural environment and on the plants of the Aosta Valley, from which they can take inspiration to go and discover other sites of natural interest in the region.
