Aosta alpine guides Association

Alpine guides  -  Aosta

Other than cultural and historical itineraries of great interest, Aosta city is an optimum starting point for fantastic trips in the surrounding mountains. In winter, a two-seater cable-car leaving from the city centre allows easy access to the Pila ski slopes only a few minutes away where incredible ski itineraries and ski excursions leave from. Short car trips will allow access to some small lateral valleys situated around the Aosta plain where splendid Alpine ski trips across uninhabited and desolate landscape depart from that even in deep winter there is plenty of dry snow .
