Combin en Musique - Canzoni

L'acqua non improvvisa, sound performance by sound designer Fabio Battistetti on the theme of water and musical performance by oboist Christian Thoma.

Artistic operation that has the clear intention of highlighting the current environmental issues, through the dramatization of a natural phenomenon starting from the sound of water will kick off the first of the appointments of the Festival.

The day includes a morning excursion in the form of a musical walk, by appointment: from the Conca di By to the Conca delle Acque Bianche, path along which Battistetti will record the sounds of streams, fountains, waterfalls, springs, will amplify them and invite participants to grasp the sonic complexity.

Christian Thoma will enrich with his music this moment but also the return of the sound environments reworked by Battistetti that will characterize the afternoon.

The concert will take place at high altitude (about 2000 m. altitude) in the Conca di By, above Ollomont, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Grand Combin and Mont Velan on the border with Switzerland and, to the south, mountains beyond the Piedmontese border in the beautiful setting of the Conca di By.
