Recognize, collect and cook mountain herbs - Guided excursion with herbal cooking course

A unique experience for all those who want to get closer to nature, discover the secrets of edible herbs with the expert Mauro Vaglio. During the hike participants will be always accompanied by the nature guide Mario Zambotto. This excursion – organized in cooperation with the Hobo Camping Val Veny – will offer you an excellent opportunity to spend a whole day immersed in the beauty of our mountains, to discover how many edible plants can be found while walking and how to use them to prepare tasty and delicious recipes.

After an excursion of about 3 hours, there will be a well-deserved lunch break to eat your packed lunch in the open air and surrounded by nature. This short break will also be an opportunity to listen to Mauro Vaglio, who will present you his books on the spontaneous aromatic herbs.  A practical cooking course will take place at the Hobo Camping Val Veny. During the cooking class participants will learn how to cook edible plants using them to prepare tasty and delicious recipes.

To participate you need to make your reservation. You should wear comfortable mountain clothes and hiking boots. Do not forget your packed lunch and a second basket for harvesting the herbs.
