Two days at the discovery of Nature and traditions of the *Gran
Paradiso National Park*, walking slowly and on tiptoe, accompanied by an expert trekking guide, you will be the welcome guests of all the inhabitants of the Park.
You will discover the secrets of cultivating and using Génépy with Mrs. Emilia. You will also meet Mrs. Alma, guardian of ancient mountain secrets, for some more talking about the traditions of the Park and that will be a very interesting and unforgettable experience.
During the second day of this trekking (after a short excursion on the traces of wild animals), you will visit to the otter-breeding centre in the village of Rovenaud. An experience of total immersion in the oldest protected area in Italy. This excursion has been awarded with quality marque trekking of the Gran Paradiso National Park for environmental sustainability.

*Meeting time and place:*Valsavarenche, 2.30 p.m.
Time of the trekking: return scheduled for 4.p.m. of the second day
Height difference: 300 metres approx.
Difficulty: E (for hikers)
Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 15 persons
*Recommended clothing and materials:*Necessary equipment: hiking boots, strong water-proof shoes, sweater or fleece, water-proof jacket, hat, rucksack, water bottle, thermos flask, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Camera and binoculars are strongly recommended. Do not forget your sleeping bag!.
