Maison Aubert is a building whose structure dates back to the mid-nineteenth century, overlooking the central via Edouard Aubert, in the heart of the city of Aosta.
This street takes its name from the antiquarian Edouard Aubert who, in the mid-nineteenth century, stayed for the first time in the main city of the Aosta Valley. In 1852 he published a booklet “Fifteen days in Aosta” and in 1860 he published a book “La Valle d’Aosta”, the work that more than any other has contributed to making the artistic beauties of the Valle d’Aosta known abroad, a place whose international fame was at that time limited to mountaineering environments and thermal tourism.
Two apartments to experience the city with a dip into its thousand years of history.
