Access:
Leave the car in Chantorné at the arrival point of Torgnon cable-car then take the dirt road that leads to the dam in Cignana. When you get to Châtelard Damon, continue on the same private road that joins itinerary 105 at this point. This takes you to Brusoney, at which point you take itinerary 1 on the left which leads to Piano di Lodetor. Follow the private road (no.1), and leave it on the left to take the path that leads to the ruins of Hospice de Chavacour. At the crossroad near the ruins, take itinerary 5 on the right, which soon leads you to Alp Château. Cross this road and continue along itinerary 5 until you come back to the dirt road. After a few metres you come to a crossroads, where you take the left-hand branch, which follows the path (still no. 5) and reaches Alp Grand-Drayères, visible from afar, owing to its characteristic vault shape, then goes on to the Rivolta bivouac.
The last section of the path is very demanding.
