Long night of the churches - "The fresco on the façade of Issime's parish church"
Contact
The Long night of the churches is an event dedicated to cult places, in the sign of music and art.
Issime’s night is organised by the Association Augusta with the participation of the band “La Lira”. Guest of honour is the art historian Sandra Barberi, who has discovered that Pieter de Jode’s engraving, produced in Antwerp in 1615, represents a model for the fresco of the Last Judgements, that the artist Francesco Biondi painted on the front of Issime’s parish church in 1698.
During the ceremony, there will be the unveiling of the shrine, where Pieter de Jode’s precious engraving is kept.
