Screening of the film "Tutta colpa del Paradiso"

The Val d’Ayas is protagonist in the cinema thanks to Tutta colpa del Paradiso, a film written, directed and starring the great Francesco Nuti in 1985. The Tuscan author had chosen the village of Ayas as the main set of his film, which returns to revive those atmospheres over 30 years later. The film was produced by Mario and Vittorio Cecchi Gori and sees the gorgeous Ornella Muti as the female protagonist alongside Nuti.

Movie plot

Romeo Casamonica (Francesco Nuti) is a young man of about 30 who, after spending five years in prison for armed robbery, returns to freedom, waiting for him outside his German wife Gertrude, with whom he had a son, Lorenzo , and she returned home leaving the child at the mercy of himself. Romeo wants to meet the adoptive parents of his son. After various searches he finds them in a picturesque hut in the Val d ‘Ayas and manages to be accepted by both the couple and the child, who does not suspect his true identity. After a season spent in the bosom of that happy family, the man decides to go his own way, also because he feels, attracted by Celeste (Ornella Muti) the new mother of his son.
