Climbing natural or artificial walls and via ferratas in Aosta Valley

If you love vertical challenges, the Aosta Valley is for you. An ideal destination not only for expert climbers but also for enthusiasts who choose the itinerary and type of climbing based on their experience.

Traditional climbing involves the use of removable protections to be placed in the rock and requires a good level of experience as it is necessary to evaluate the correct positioning of the belay tools.

Sport climbing has permanent anchors to which you can attach yourself safely and consists of three specialties:

"lead" - climbing on routes that progressively increase in difficulty
"bouldering" – climbing on boulders and low routes, of varying difficulty, without the use of a harness but of mattresses to cushion falls
"speed" - consists of completing a route (normally of medium/low difficulty) in the shortest time possible.

Refer to the mountain guides for a safe experience.
