L’ingresso è compreso nel biglietto del Museo delle Alpi.

L’installazione al Forte di Bard sarà inaugurata martedì 15 luglio, alle ore 17.30. Durante l'inaugurazione interverranno la curatrice Gabriella Anedi, gli autori delle opere e Antonio Beck Peccoz, che commenterà il filmato d’epoca. Per adesioni prenotarsi entro il 12 luglio a prenotazioni@fortedibard.it 

A conclusione seguirà un aperitivo.

La mostra sarà visitabile dal 16 luglio al 31 agosto 2025.

Il progetto ControTorrente, ideato da Gabriella Anedi e realizzato da AdArt, torna nell’estate 2025 con un evento unico negli spazi del Forte di Bard. ControTorrente è un’iniziativa che unisce arte, architettura, cultura, musica e natura per una rilettura dei contesti ambientali.

Grazie alla collaborazione con il Forte di Bard e il Walser Kulturzentrum di Gressoney-Saint-Jean, anche l’edizione di quest’anno propone l’arte contemporanea come strumento interpretativo delle tradizioni locali, con un focus speciale sul costume femminile tradizionale di Gressoney, emblema di sapienza artigianale e di profondi investimenti simbolici.

Su questo prezioso abito, tramandato di generazione in generazione, si posano due sguardi artistici distinti ma complementari: lo sguardo documentaristico e storico di Carlotta Beck Peccoz, quello più intimo e poetico di Marta Griso e Valeria Codara. Il risultato è un’installazione artistica di grande fascino che i visitatori del Museo delle Alpi potranno scoprire lungo il percorso espositivo.

Le opere saranno esposte nella suggestiva “cucina militare”, lungo il percorso museale, assieme ad un filmato degli anni ’30 che offre uno spaccato visivo della vita e della cultura dell’epoca.

Opere in mostra:

  • “D’rotanketò — Il costume di Gressoney” Video documentario di Carlotta Beck Peccoz e Timothy Wood. Il racconto si sviluppa in titsch, l’antica lingua dei Walser, in dialogo con Elide Squindo, già presidente del Walser Kulturzentrum.
  • “Cartamodello rosso” - Video e installazione di Marta Griso e Valeria Codara
  • Costume femminile della prima metà XX secolo
