E-bike excursion to the Gabiet lake
Resorts: Gressoney-La-Trinité
Free of charge for all participants staying in some accommodation facilities affiliated to the tourist consortium.
E-bike hire not included.
- Meeting time and place: 9.30 a.m. at the departure of Punta Jolanda chairlift
- Description of the route: we climb up the farm road on the orographic right of the river and then on the dirt road until reaching the hamlet of D’Ejola. From there, we climb up the easy track to Bédémie. We continue on the dirt road (with some steep sections) to the Gabiet lake. Break at the Gabiet refuge. Descent along the track passing by Punta Jolanda to return to Gressoney-La-Trinité.

Come and try out the E-Bike, the latest generation of electric mountain bikes that make everything easier, more fun and faster! The Monterosa Experience association organizes weekly group excursions every Wednesday of the summer season.
On Wednesday 30th July there will be an excursion to Lake Gabiet, located in a beautiful basin with a wide view of the main peaks of Monte Rosa: Breithorn, Castor, Pollux and Lyskamm.
Duration: about 3 hours in total
Elevation gain: 730 m (departure 1640 m - arrival 2370 m)
Difficulty: 2 (on a scale of 1 to 5)
