The eagle, the undisputed queen of the sky of the Aosta Valley and in particular of the Gran Paradiso National Park, will be our travel companion.
Accompanied by a hiking and nature guide, you will discover this predator that lives at high altitude. You will know his behaviour and his survival strategies. If you can spot an eagle flying free in the sky your eyes will be filled with wonder and astonishment. Who has never felt wonder while observing an eagle circling in the sky and then, all of a sudden, throwing himself on a prey?
In the Aosta Valley we have the highest concentration of pairs of eagles, they are mainly in the area of the Gran Paradiso National Park, where about ten of them have decided to nest. We call this predator “Golden eagle”, queen of the sky and high mountains. Accompanied by a hiking and nature guide, you will discover where the eagle lives and where he looks for his prey. You will know his feeding and reproduction strategies. You will tiptoe into his world trying to know his natural environment to be able to respect an protect the eagle. You will walk with your nose up, in the hope of observing the eagle circling above your heads.
Snowshoeing in total security is our priority.
