The "Giro E" and the Giro d'Italia in the city of Aosta

- Presentation of the teams
- 9.00 am: Departure of the stage with arrival in Courmayeur at around 2.00 pm
- At 10.30 am presentation of the sporting events that will animate Aosta until the end of the year
- Approximately 12.30 pm: arrival of the “Carovana del Giro”, the colorful delegation of the sponsors’ vehicles following the Giro d’Italia, which will anticipate the cyclists of the pink race of about an hour and a half, animating the public waiting for the athletes with gadgets and music.

In addition to the passage of the “Giro d’Italia” as part of the “14th stage from Saint-Vincent to Courmayeur”, Aosta will see the start of the 12th stage of the “Giro E”, an e-bike competition for amateurs who will undergo tests of regularities carried out on a part of the route of the 18 stages of the Giro d’Italia 2019, excluding the three time trials.
Ten teams of six athletes participate in the race.
The twelfth stage of the tour dedicated to electric bikes goes from Aosta to Courmayeur (Skyway Monte Bianco cableway) for a length of 97 kilometers.
