- You can reach the mining site in an hour and a half splendid panoramic walk on foot, or alternatively you can take the free shuttle from Cogne to Montroz. Once you have reached the village church, take the dirt road crossing the bridge over the river.
- You can reach the mining site starting from Cogne and following the road leading to the hammlet of Gimillan. From there take the dirt road to the right crossing the bridge over the river
- You have the possibility to reach the mining site also by e-bike. The e-bike tour stating from Cogne takes about 1 hour.

Half-day excursion to the magnetite mines in Cogne, accompanied by a qualified guide. This guided tour will give you the opportunity to discover the history of the old miners, the difficulties of their hard work inside one of highest minining sites in Europe, with more than 100 km. of tunnels.
The visit starts from the mining site Costa de Pino (2030 metres asl). It will take you 1hour and half walk on a dirt road, or 1 hour by e-bike to reach the mine site.
Once there you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso.
The old mine train with trailer trolleys, the same once used by miners, will take the visitors inside the mine and its tunnel, and will allow them to live and extraordinary experience evoking the atmosphere the past. The itinerary will continue on foot and will offer you the opportunity to discover many original tunnel and installations.

Suitable clothing is recommended: please note that the temperature inside the mine is about 7 degrees, with 95% humidity and cold currents. Visitors also need hiking boots, windproof jacket, long trousers. helmets with headlamp are provided by the guides.
