Alpine Troops and Community Festival

Municipal pavilion and war memorial of Challand-Saint-Anselme
At 10:30 AM at the municipal pavilion: celebration of Holy Mass.
Following the Holy Mass at the war memorial: laying of the laurel wreath by the Alpine Troops, arriving in a parade and preceded by the marching band.
At the end of the ceremony at the municipal pavilion: community lunch hosted by the Pro Loco and a joyful afternoon together.
The Pro Loco association, the Alpine Troops Group, and the Municipal Administration join forces to offer the traditional late-summer festival, a moment of community gathering and gratitude for all the population.
During the day, the Municipal Administration celebrates its over-seventy citizens and rewards deserving residents, as well as the most loyal tourists who frequent the resort, in conjunction with the local Alpine Troops Group's annual festival.
The celebration features Holy Mass followed by the Alpine Troops parade. Accompanied and preceded by the marching band, they will head towards the war memorial for the solemn laying of a laurel wreath. Afterward, the day will continue in high spirits with a lunch prepared and hosted by the Pro Loco volunteers.
