Easy guided hike which is also suitable for occasional hikers.
The itinerary starts from Chamois, the only Italian municipality accessible only on foot or by cable car, which is situated in the Matterhorn valley. The hike continues along a wonderful path which is called “Grande Balconata del Cervino”, (path nr. 107) and reaches the municipality of La Magdeleine.
During the hike attention will be particularly focused on the theme of electricity generation.
Time of the hike: 4 hours (one way and return)
Hight difference: 100+ metres
Difficulty: T – (for hikers)
Recommended clothing and equipment: trekking shoes or boots, trail running sneakers, waterproof/windproof jacket, cap, backpack, sunglasses.
