Wonderful hike in the Gran Paradiso National Park – Loop itinerary from Bardoney valley to Loie lake

Full-day hike.

Loop itinerary that offers you the possibility to admire different mountain environments: forests, high altitude lakes, streams, water jumps and sparkling waterfalls.

From Lillaz you enter the Urtier valley till you reach the hamlet of Goilles. From there, once you have passed the stream, you enter a forest of larches and Swiss pine trees till you reach the cottage of Teppelonge. You always continue on the right to reach the Bardoney valley. The circular itinerary continues and reaches the following points: Testa Goilles, Loie lake, and the Lillaz waterfalls at the end of the hike.

Time of the hike: 5h30 – loop itineray

Hight difference: 700 metres approx.

Difficulty: E (for hikers)

Recommended equipment and clothing: summer clothing - light summer trousers - sunglasses.

In case of bad weather: participants will be contacted the previous evening. The option will be either to find an alternative itinerary, or to cancel the hike.
