On the way up to a 4000-metre high mountain

The price includes:
- half-board at mountain hut Coda and picnic (day 2)
- half-board at mountain hut Barma and picnic (day 3)
- half-board at mountain hut Mantova
- escort by a nature guide and an apirant mountain guide during the whole week
- a second mountain guide on day 5
The price does not include:
- packed lunch on day 1 and on day 4
- lunch at the refuge on day 5
- tickets for the lifts (Staffal-Indren)
- hire of glacier boots and crampons
In order to register, it is necessary to make a deposit of 230,00 € (that cannot be refunded).
Day 1: meeting at Coumarial (Fontainemore) and hike to mountain hut Coda
Day 2: walk along the Alta Via 1 and climbing lesson
Day 3: overnight stay at mountain hut Barma, climbing lesson and return to the village
Day 4: hike to mountain hut Mantova and arrangements for the final challenge
Day 5: the conquest of the glacier

The sports association Monterosa Academy organises a week in the sign of adventure and fun for kids between 12 and 16 years. A unique experience in order to discover the alpine world and the magic of the highest peaks.
- Age: 12-16 years
- Minimum number of participants: 9
- Necessary equipment for the first three days: rucksack (25/30 l) with waterproof cover (in case of rain), hiking boots, cagoule, down jacket, fleece, trekking pants, shorts, sun hat, sun glasses, sun cream and lip balm, sleeping bag liner, headlamp, small toilet bag, clean underwear (panties and socks), water bottle or hydration pack (at least 1,5 l), harness, snack or energy bars.
- Additional equipment for the two last days: glacier boots, bonnet and warm gloves, ski underwear, ski socks, crampons.
