At the borders between dreams and reality

Full-day excursion.

The hike takes place in the Breuil valley, in the Piccolo San Bernardo area. The loop itinerary starts from Verney lake and ends at Colle della Bassa Serra.

From Verney lake you climb up till you reach Alpe Barmette. Once you have passed the stream,you can see the houses in Chanté. From this point on begins the long crossing. The first part takes you to Crotte, and the second part ends to Colle della Bassa Serra (or Echelle de Chavannes). The return takes place along a more winding path and small lakes, among which the largest is that of Tormotta.

Time of the hike: 6 hours to complete the loop itinerary

Hight difference: 650 metres approx.

Difficulty: E (for hikers)

Number of participants: minimum 6 persons

Equipment and recommended materials: summer clothing, comfortable long pants, sunglasses, packed lunch.

In case of bad weather: the guide will call the participants the day before and decide whether to find an alternative route, or cancel the excursion.
