Every year, on the last Sunday of May, the Open Cellars Cantine Aperte event takes place during which it is possible to taste the excellent products of many Aosta Valley wineries.

Ancient written records attesting the presence of viticulture in the Aosta Valley date back to the Middle Ages. Today the quality of Valle d’Aosta wines is very high, the characteristics of the wines somewhat particular. During the last decades there has been a constant increase in the quality and quantity of the production of wines, which have obtained numerous awards both nationally and internationally.

Cantine Aperte wants to be an event of discovery and rediscovery of the numerous Aosta Valley wineries,

In addition to the possibility of tasting wines and buying them directly by the wineries, it is possible to enter the cellars to discover the secrets of wine making and aging. The purchase of a glass is due for the tasting in the cellars.
