Discover and rediscover of the numerous Aosta Valley wineries
Every year, on the last Sunday of May, the Open Cellars Cantine Aperte event takes place during which it is possible to taste the excellent products of many Aosta Valley wineries.
Ancient written records attesting the presence of viticulture in the Aosta Valley date back to the Middle Ages. Today the quality of Valle d’Aosta wines is very high, the characteristics of the wines somewhat particular. During the last decades there has been a constant increase in the quality and quantity of the production of wines, which have obtained numerous awards both nationally and internationally.
