Opening from 18th April 2026
Tourist fishing reserve managed by the Fishing Consortium (government licence and daily permit required): Lake La Palud. It is located near Col de Joux, the hill connecting the towns of Saint-Vincent and Brusson. The waters come from the Ru Courtaud, an irrigation canal dating back to the 14th century that carries the waters of the Courthoud stream, a typical Alpine watercourse originating from the Ventina glacier. A feature of this reserve is the possibility of fishing in the lake, which is peaceful and also suitable for beginners. The lake, located at an altitude of 1,605 m, has a surface area of 5,890 m2.
In the reserves managed by the fishing consortium, fishing is permitted every day of the week.
