The forestry corps, whose head office is in Gaby, is responsible for following municipalities: Fontainemore, Issime, Gaby, Gressoney-Saint-Jean and Gressoney-La-Trinité.

The agency “Monterosa Travel” offers outdoor activities both in winter and in summer on Monte Rosa’s and Mont Blanc’s mountains and in numerous other holiday resorts.
A team of experts in skiing, snow and mountains will accompany the client in total safety during his adventure.
The suggested activities are for everyone: those who have never been on skis and who want to learn this sports discipline, those who are looking for breathtaking descents and for new mountains and those who have just started climbing and ski touring.
Thanks to a great know-how, it is possible to offer made-to-measure activities.

Besides the transfer of real estate, the agency rents houses and apartments for a week, a month, a season or a year.

Weekly day off: on Monday afternoons and on Tuesdays.

Locality Z’Indra (2.600 m)
This refuge can be reached by gondola Staffal-Gabiet (2.300 m) and then on foot along path 6A (a 1-hour-long walk). In winter it is possible to go there on skis or with snowshoes.

Summer equipment: ice axes, crampons, mountaineering boots, equipment for via ferrata, harnesses, rucksacks and backpacks to carry babies, helmets.

Winter equipment: alpine skiing, freeride, ski touring, seal skins and boots, ski boots, snowboard with “soft” bindings, helmets, snowshoes, hiking boots, crampons, avalanche shovels, avalanche probes, ARTVA (avalanche transceivers), backpacks, backpacks with ABS.

The trauma centre is open during the winter season, according to a schedule defined from season to season, depending on the situation of the snow. The activity begins in early December and ends around mid-April.
The rates for the services provided are determined by a regional price list, notwithstanding the possibility for users to make use of a suitable form of insurance coverage proposed when buying a ski pass (3 € per day).

The tourist office of Gressoney-La-Trinité is located inside the characteristic Walser Ecomuseum in Tache, which is located between the town hall and the parish church. In addition to providing specific and detailed information on the Upper Lys Valley, it is available to guide the visitor on his/her discovery of the entire Valle d’Aosta and provides the following services:

• Sale and booking of tickets for Skyway Monte Bianco cablecar
• Sale of hiking maps of the Aosta Valley and gadgets with the tourist logo

The library, which is open all year long, has books for adults, young people and children. All volumes can be consulted in the library or taken home. In order to use the offered services, you must join the library. Membership is free; you just need to show a valid identity paper. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The loan of books is free.
The library has two free internet points and wireless access to the internet.

As a result of the mapping carried out in 2023 as part of the "Lo sci per tutte le abilità" (Skiing for everyone) project, the following was found:

• The library is located on the first floor and it can be reached by a lift, whose size and characteristics conform to the requirements.
• The toilet has a good free moving space and is equipped with the necessary auxiliary devices.
• The car park in front of the building has some parking spaces for people with disabilities.
