Mature woodland composed of Scotch Pine with some Larch and individual specimens of Fir; there are a few broad-leaved trees such as Willow and Trembling Aspen. Undergrowth composed of Juniper, Barberry, Berberis, Honeysuckle and Dog Rose.

HOW TO GET THERE
You can arrive by taking the road leading from Sarre up to Ville-sur-Sarre town and reaching the Bellon district.

Mount Grivola and Mount Grand Nomenon are located to the South, while Mount Emilius is located to the East.

Les Fleurs d’Aquilou restaurant in Sarre is located at 1650 metres in the village of Thouraz, in a panoramic position with a splendid view. The cuisine is typical of Aosta Valley and spontaneous and cultivated products are used.

For as long as 40 years, "Trattoria di Campagna" has offered dishes based on typical regional products, but not only ; it also offers, based on seasonal availability, porcini mushrooms, truffles, asparagus, recipes such as bagna cauda and boiled meat.
The Cortese family takes care of the kitchen and of the dining room in order to make their restaurant customers feel like home.

Pizzeria and restaurant overlooking a small lake, very beautiful and charming. The restaurant has two internal rooms furnished in a modern and simple style with a special care to details.
It gives a rich and varied choice of pizzas for every kind of taste and a simple and delicious cuisine for your special moments with friends and relatives.

The pizza restaurant offers rich, but light pizzas, including four gourmet pizzas. Fish is the main dish of the menu, both in the appetizers and in the first and second courses, but the menu also offers meat.

"Café le Pommier" offers Sicilian specialities and is open for lunch and dinner upon reservation.

At the Parisette it’s possible to find aperitifs, cold dishes and warm dishes.

The refuge, accessible only on foot, is a new structure with the appearance of a typical mountain cabin. For the construction, both inside and outside, it was used local old wood.
The restaurant offers typical mountain cuisine and traditional dishes of the Aosta Valley accompanied by a large wine selection and local beers. In sunny days, the shelter offers in the menu grilled meats. The desserts, made exclusively by the chef, are served throughout the day.

The Locanda Dei Sognatori restaurant is a place where you can taste the most famous traditional regional dishes, but also interesting proposals of revisited Mediterranean cuisine based on typical local products.

The restaurant hotel is large and bright, in a welcoming alpine style. The tables can become oval, rectangular or square, depending on the customer’s request. On winter days, the fireplace always on guarantees a family and intimate atmosphere.
The restaurant offers customers dishes prepared with product at km 0*: fontina cheese from the pastures, honey from the nearby meadows, vegetables from the garden, true and intense mountain flavors.
The menu also includes vegetarian dishes and particular attention is paid to food intolerances.

Dal Fornaro del Castello is not the usual pizzeria: the restaurant offers Neapolitan-inspired doughs with 4 flours and the leavening of the dough for 48h, classic and gourmet pizzas, fresh fish dishes and meat with a constant attention to the quality and the territoriality of raw materials.
