Single day snowshoe tour: Sanctuary of Calvalité

The price includes: the service of a certified mid-mountain guide, technical equipment (snowshoes and poles for those who do not have their own), and self-rescue equipment (avalanche transceiver–shovel–probe kit).
The price does not include: any meals, which are at the participants’ own expense.
Booking a few days in advance is recommended.
The meeting point and time will be agreed directly at the time of booking.
Experience the magic of winter with a beautiful medium-difficulty hike, in a wild environment in the Cheneil basin.
Once you reach the small village of Cheneil, the ascent continues first through a larch forest and then along the slope beneath the ridge where the Clavalité sanctuary stands.
The view is breathtaking, stretching over the entire Valtournenche, the Matterhorn, and several peaks of the Aosta Valley.
Elevation gain: approx. 500 m
Difficulty: E (hiking)
Recommended clothing, equipment, and gear: warm and waterproof clothing, windproof jacket, waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, warm and waterproof trekking boots or après-ski boots, backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water/snacks, water bottle.
Additional equipment may be specified, if necessary, at the time of registration.
Equipment included in the fee: snowshoes, trekking poles, and self-rescue equipment.
Minimum number of participants: 4 participants.
