Description of the itinerary

The chapel of Saint-Évence is situated  in a splendid panoramic position, on the wooded ridge between two valleys. This easy excursion will allow us to enjoy a splendid view over the whole Valtournenche dominated by the Matterhorn, and over the central valley towards Aosta and the mountains above it, and the lower valley up to the Piemontese plain. We will take the opportunity to observe the flora and fauna typical of the coniferous forests.

Height difference : 200 metres approx.
Difficulty: E (for hikers)
Participants: minimum 3 persons 
Clothing and equipment : Trekking boots, windstopper jacket, a small backpack, sunglasses, thermos with water and a snack, hiking poles (optional).
In case of bad weather: the excursion wil be cancelled.  In case of rain, on the contrary, the excursion  will be postponed
