The hotel Lion Noir is situated in an exclusive area which is central to the ski lifts (you can get there whilst still wearing skis) and is in front of the Aosta/Pila telecabin station. <br>You can admire an enchanting and picturesque panorama thanks to its altitude and position (a view of Monte Bianco, Grand Combin, from Cervino to Monterosa) both in the winter and the summer.<br> The hotel Lion Noir has been completely renovated whilst it remains in keeping with the traditions of the valley; it has disabled access and stands out as a result of the range of services which it offers its clientele.

Aosta Est motorway exit. Carry on in the direction of Aosta on the road with heavy traffic. At the 3rd traffic light (tourist directions for Pila) turn left and go as far as the roundabout level with the motorway underpass, carry straight on towards Pollein going past the bridge and reaching a second roundabout. <br>Here turn right, go through Pollein and after a few kilometres you will reach another roundabout, turn left and take the road for Pila. Go past the town of Charvensod and after numerous hairpin bends after approximately 18 km you will reach Pila, a hamlet in the town of Gressan. The hotel is situated in the built-up area, in front of the arrival point of the Aosta/Pila telecabin.

The nearest train station is in Aosta.
