The Baita is located in the center of the Les Dzovennoz resort in Bionaz, near the Biathlon stadium; in the past, it was a holiday home that hosted summer camps for teenagers. Bionaz is the ideal place for those who come from the city in search of relaxation, away from smog, traffic and confusion. Excellent starting point for trekking at all levels, it allows you to reach refuges that welcome mountain enthusiasts with professionalism and competence.
In summer, the nearby Lake Lexert, in addition to offering a spectacular panorama of the Murailles mountain chain, is the place to indulge in the sun, use the picnic area, attend and participate in events and stroll in the nearby pine forest.
The Baita is made up of 6 cozy apartments, recently completed, bright, spacious, equipped with Wi-Fi and all the comforts. They have a common laundry room, a large garden equipped with tables, deck chairs, umbrellas for relaxation and for enjoying the balsamic scent of the nearby pine forest.

How to get here

By car

Aosta East motorway exit.
Follow the signs for the Gran San Bernardo Tunnel (green panels), which soon lead to the entrance of the tunnel that connects to State Road 27. Immediately after exiting the tunnel, take the fork to the right indicating Valpelline, Place Moulin Dam.
Continue on the regional road for a few kilometres until reaching the municipality of Valpelline.
Pass the petrol station on the right (last service station in the valley) and continue uphill until the crossroads for Bionaz on the right, at the hairpin bend. At the crossroads, continue on Regional Road 28, which first touches the municipality of Oyace and, after a final short climb, reaches the Lexert plateau with its lake of the same name, and a little further on the right is the CAV.

By public transport

The nearest railway station is in Aosta.
There is a regular bus service to Bionaz (about 4 trips daily, except Sundays).
The bus stop is nearby.
