The refuge which is situated in Val Veny, at the foot of the Mont Blanc, is easily accessible in summer by car, and using the ski lifts in winter. The refuge is situated on the ski slopes of the Courmayeur ski resort, on the Val Veny side, and can be reached whilst wearing skis. Those wishing to do so have the possibility to ski off-piste.

How to get here
By car
Courmayeur motorway exit.
From the Courmayeur motorway exit carry on along strada statale (main road) 26 towards Mont Blanc up to La Saxe. Before you reach the snow sheds turn left, then right to go onto the local road towards Entrèves. After a few metres turn left and carry on along the road for Val Veny for approximately 3 km, up to Plan Ponquet where, having turned left, you can reach the refuge by car.
By public transport
The nearest train station is in Aosta.
Scheduled Coach service as far as Courmayeur (approximately 15 trips a day).
Local line for Val Veny (approximately 12 trips a day).
