Orestes Hütte

The refuge is located at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the Indren basin, in the heart of the Monterosa Ski area.
An ideal destination for ski touring, off-piste skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts in winter, trekkers, hikers and mountaineers in summer. An ideal place for lovers of nature and tranquility, it offers vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

In winter, snowshoers and ski mountaineers can reach the refuge by taking the gondola lift Staffal-Gabiet and then following the uphill trail marked with green poles toward the Salati Pass. At around 2,600 meters of altitude, you must follow the orange poles leading to the refuge, passing by the Indren dam. The hiking time ranges from 1 hour to 1 hour and a half.
