The village of Brissogne is located 827metres above sea level along the course of the Dora Baltea.
During medieval times it formed part of the stronghold owned by the Quart nobles. Then, in the eighteenth century it was given to the people of Avise.
Near the Grand Brissogne (Fr. Neyran) you can admire the ancient cylindrical tower, the ruins of Brissogne castle that fell in 1776.
For anyone in search of peace and quiet and splendid landscape immersed in nature, we recommend the Percorso della Salute (Healthy Route), situated in Les Iles, immersed in greenery, with gymnastic equipment and relaxing walks.
