La Maison du Seigneur is the renovation of what was once, back in the 16th century, the Tower of Justice or fortified house, also known as the ‘prison tower’, seat of the chapters of the cathedral and collegiate church of Aosta, Lords of Derby, who administered their property and justice there.
In 2013, the house was renovated to create a B&B.
The property has a breakfast room with TV, a well-stocked collection of board games and books, a relaxation room with infrared sauna and chromotherapy, spinning bikes and treadmills. 
The rooms are furnished in a typical mountain style with great attention to detail and are equipped with private bathroom with hydromassage shower and hairdryer, flat-screen LED television with satellite channels.

How to get here

By car

From Milan or Turin:
exit at ‘Morgex’, follow signs for Aosta-La Salle, after 5 km turn right into the hamlet of Derby; you will find us 500 metres after the church.

From the Mont Blanc Tunnel (France):
continue on the SS26 national road towards Aosta, after 17 km turn right into the hamlet of Derby.

By public transport

The nearest railway station is Aosta.
Regular bus service between Aosta and Courmayeur (approximately 15 trips per day).
Get off at the ‘Frazione Derby’ stop. La Maison du Seigneur is located 500 metres from the stop, after the church, on the right.
