The bivouac, inaugurated in 1910 and renovated in 1982, is dedicated to Giovanni Bobba, mountaineer and author of CAI mountain guides including the first “Guide of the Western Alps” (1896).
From the golf course at Breuil-Cervinia, follow the path that leads to the Les Morces Alpine huts and, after a slanting stretch, comes to the Alp Maberge. First carry on along the flat path on debris that diagonally crosses it until you come to a crossroads; from here carry on along an alternating steep stretch amidst protruding rocks until you come to the bivouac.
Equipment: mattresses, blankets, pillows.
