Ski pass for ski mountaineers
The Monterosa Ski area is making four linked courses (two in the Gressoney Valley, one in Val d’Ayas and one in Champorcher) available to lovers of ski mountaineering .
These courses are dedicated solely to those climbing with ski skins: all the paths respect the relevant safety rules in order to avoid interference with the slopes reserved for ski mountaineering, which will of course be accessible downhill for ski mountaineers during opening hours.
The ski pass allows holders to use the Franchey-Alpe Ciarcerio cable car in Val d’Ayas, the Stafal-Sant’Anna cable car and Stafal-Gabiet cable car in the Gressoney Valley and the Chardonney-Laris cable-car in Champorcher.
In the Val d’Ayas, a route starts from Ciarcerio and goes up to Colle Bettaforca, in the Gressoney Valley, skiers can go up from Sant’Anna to Colle Bettaforca and from the Gabiet up to Passo dei Salati, whilst in Champorcher from Laris to Dondena and Cimetta.
