Where to sleep: Nus

Our farm takes its name from the village of the same name located on the hill of Nus, in adrèt, the sunny side of Valle d’Aosta. Our family tries to be mostly self-sufficient, growing by tradition grapes, cereals and vegetables between the villages of Les Granges and Lignan, in the Saint-Barthélemy valley.
We are all-round farmers, and it is precisely in such a broad scenario that each of us finds his/her own freedom of expression, taking care of the tasks that suit him/her best. As it is typical in Valle d’Aosta, our plots of land are small, of which three hectares are cultivated in vineyards and one in mixed agriculture … The right size to take care of, love and get to know the characteristics of each soil at its best. We cultivate with full respect of nature; ours is manual and natural agriculture. According to our feeling, since 2012 we have been practicing biodynamics, which with preparations aims at keeping plants healthy, only by developing the soil fertility of the soil. The facility, built entirely via green building with the use of natural materials, houses five rooms; we also have a restaurant room with twenty-five seats available and a panoramic view of Fénis castle. Upon reservation we organize tastings and dinners, prepared with vegetables and cereals from our gardens.

A few Km from Aosta you will find the Hotel Veneriaz, with its courteous owners ready to welcome you and make your stay in Valle d'Aosta as pleasant as possible.
An ideal starting point for summer excursions in the most well-known places in the region or for the winter sport facilities; the hotel is also an ideal place to relax, enjoying the sunshine while sinking into the deck-chairs at the side of the swimming pool or eating local Valle d'Aosta dishes in the intimate restaurant.

The hotel Dujany di Nus, is 9 Km from Aosta and 8 Km from Saint-Vincent, in the middle of the valley and is an ideal starting point for the well-known places in the region. The hotel is facing Fénis castle, the most well-known in the Valle d'Aosta.

The bed and breakfast is located in a house in the old hamlet of Nus, very close to the highway exit, the public transportation stop and the railway station, and two kilometers from the famous Fénis castle.
In half an hour it is possible to reach Saint-Barthélemy and visit the Astronomical Observatory. In summer, you can walk safely at high altitude, while in winter, always in Saint-Barthélemy, for Nordic ski enthusiasts there is the “Saint-Barthélemy Gran Tor”, a 30-km cross-country ski ring. A real treat for enthusiasts; the beauty of the landscape surrounded by centuries-old larch and fir woods and the variety of the route make the trail unique, and for the less athletically enthusiastic, there is the possibility to skip the most demanding parts and to go fewer kilometers, yet always remaining in an uncontaminated environment.
This accommodation facility is a “Friend of the Via Francigena” and can offer special services to those who are traveling along this itinerary such as: a place for washing and drying clothes, weather information, information on the route, luggage transportation services.

Immersed in greenery and tranquility, the B&B has three rooms, each one different from the others, furnished in a modern style with parquet floors and handcrafted furniture made to measure. Each of the three bedrooms – Cavallo (Horse), Mucca (Cow), Galletto (Cockerel) - has a bathroom with a shower, a private balcony, satellite TV. A rich breakfast and Wi-Fi Internet connection are available to guests, as well as private outdoor parking. Le Jardin de Pierre is the ideal solution for those looking for a base in Valle d’ Aosta, but do not want to give up the pleasure of feeling at home.
The B&B Le Jardin de Pierre is located on the hill of Nus, along the Via Francigena route, just opposite Fénis and its medieval castle. Nus is a strategic place for visiting Valle d’ Aosta: Aosta is 14 km away (20 minutes by car), in half an hour you can reach the Bard fortress, the astronomical observatory of Saint-Barthélemy, the castles of Sarre, Saint-Pierre and Aymavilles. Courmayeur, Cogne, La Thuile and the Gran Paradiso Park are about 40-60 minutes away by car. Le Jardin de Pierre is located just 1.5 km from the Nus highway exit, the train station and the bus station.

Just 16 km away, you will find Saint Barthélemy, famous for its Astronomical Observatory and for its magnificent cross-country skiing track “Gran Tor”.
Furthermore, Fenis castle is only a minute away.

The refuge was built on the site of a chapel built in 1656, alongside a consecrated spring which has been the destination for pilgrimmages for centuries.
First of all a barn and then a refuge for pilgrims, it has been opening its doors to travellers who appreciate the basin with its mountain pasture at the foot of the Becca del Merlo and its closeness to the lakes of Cuney, Becca Fontaney and Monte Morion since long ago.

Magià is a mountain chalet in Val d’ Aosta. It is located in the Saint-Barthélemy valley, at 2007 meters above sea level, in the La Servaz locality of the municipality of Nus (AO).
Here you can enjoy the wild charm of the woods and high mountain meadows, the primitive beauty of the ridges and peaks, the magic of a clear starry sky, which takes your breath away. Traveling through the Saint-Barthélemy valley means immersing yourself in one of the most authentic and unspoiled natural settings, not only in Val d’ Aosta, but in the entire Alpine arc.
From the mountain chalet you can take numerous easy and medium-difficulty walks. You can choose the excursion suitable for you: various circuits are within everyone’s reach! Other slightly more demanding paths will take you to some of the peaks that surround us, from where you can admire unforgettable views. Getting to the Rifugio Magià is also very pleasant by bicycle (try it with the e-bikes for hire); the farm road in spring and summer is largely flat, easily accessible for the young and the old!

Desideriamo poter diventare un punto di incontro non solo per turisti e pellegrini, ma anche per la comunità di Nus! Tutti coloro che lo desiderano, infatti, possono usufruire dei nostri spazi comuni per un caffè, una partita a carte o anche solo per fare quattro chiacchiere, sempre in compagnia del nostro giovane staff!”  

The apartments are located in the St Barthélemy valley, 4 km from the splendid GranTor cross-country trail (30 km in total) and approximately 200 m from the Astronomical Observatory and the Planetarium. Excellent starting point for excursions suitable for both beginners and mountain professionals. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles (pedal assistance) for a unique experience!
There is a yard available, with a splendid view of the mountains, where you can sunbathe. There are deckchairs available for the guests in the apartments and those of the Locanda (Inn) below.
There is also a play area for children in the yard.

Modern and inviting, the establishment is situated in a sunny, panoramic position just a short walk from the Astronomy Observatory.
