The Dortoir Cumiod (Cumiod Hostel) is located in the homonymous village of Cumiod on the south facing hill in the municipality of Villeneuve at 850 metres above sea level.
The dortoir stands in a large estate, surrounded by beautiful and ample vineyards. The dortoir offers the possibility of enjoying nature and the breathtaking view during every season.
The recently renovated premises combine energy saving modern technology with the traditional use of stone and wood in order to give our guests moments of true relaxation.
The Dortoir is a great starting point both for summer excursions or to get to the ski slopes.
Open all year round and really close to services yet immersed in a peaceful oasis, the dortoir is ideal for those who are looking for total tranquillity or those who wish to visit the marvels of the Valley or to devote themselves to sport and the mountains.

In auto
The Dortoir is located just seven kilometres from the Aosta West motorway exit and is easily accessible in all seasons.
Exit the motorway and continue in the direction of St-Pierre, after four kilometres turn right and continue towards St-Nicolas for one and a half kilometres, where you will find the sign Montovert-Cumiod on the left. Continue in that direction keeping to the right until you reach a private road surrounded by vineyards that will take you to your destination.

The nearest train station is Aosta.
There is a regular bus service from Aosta to Saint-Pierre (around 15 journeys a day).
