28th Gran Paradiso Film Festival. With over forty years of history, the 28th edition of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival - organised by Fondation Grand Paradis - continues, in 2025, in the tradition of an event rooted in the territory and at the same time capable of innovation, with nature, culture and the mountains as its protagonists.
The Festival takes place in Cogne, in the Gran Paradiso valleys and online at www.gpff.it.
The undisputed stars of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival are the wildlife films, chosen from numerous works in the selection from all over the world.
The GPFF consists of four film sections: the Concorso Internazionale and the CortoNatura dedicated respectively to competing feature films and short films; the web section GPFF online thanks to which it is possible to see and vote for documentaries in streaming on the web; and finally GPFF OFF brings together the films that do not compete for prizes.
In parallel with the screenings, a diversified and varied programme will be offered, with events and in-depth talks on the theme of the Festival, including:
- De Rerum Natura, series of meetings with prominent personalities from different fields of knowledge.
- GPFF on show, with art exhibitions related to the themes of nature, located at various points throughout the territory.
- Aria di Festival, outdoor events in contact with nature.
- moments of reflection on books and literature in Parole di Natura.
- musical performances by local and international artists in Note di Natura.
All Gran Paradiso Film Festival events are free of charge, subject to booking and subject to availability.
