How to get there

On foot: from Pont, the highest hamlet in Valsavarenche, cross the Savara stream and take the farm track on the right, route n. 1. The route winds its way through larch forests and wide, green clearings, making it ideal for families with children – even those with pushchairs – and for cycling trips.

How to get here

By car

Take the Aosta Ovest-Aymavilles motorway exit.
Continue straight on towards Aosta, then follow the SS 26 towards Mont Blanc until you reach Villeneuve. Once past the village, follow the straight stretch of the main road to the junction for Introd-Rhêmes-Valsavarenche, turn right and drive up to Introd. Pass through the village and, at the next junction, turn left towards Valsavarenche and continue uphill for about 12 km to the main village of Valsavarenche, Dégioz. Continue along the main road to the hamlet of Pont, where the road ends and the car park is located. 

By public transport

The nearest railway station is in Aosta.
There is a regular coach service to Pont (around three journeys a day).
