Traditional events
Traditions are strong and still deep-rooted in the communities residing in the Aosta Valley.
Some traditional events are enjoyable occasions on which to celebrate, get involved and learn all there is to know about the region’s history and culture: the colourful historical carnivals; the traditional bloodless bull or goat fighting; the many religious festivals or festivals inspired by a love for the mountains or the desire to commemorate country life of times gone by.
