From Crétaz, go up to Valmartin (1510 m), where a path begins that leads to the Maen hydroelectric plant. Continue on towards the Cignana dam and the Barmasse mountain hut (2175 m). From here, head towards the Fenêtre d’Ersaz Pass (2293 m) and go back down to the Reboulaz bivouac (2585 m) near Luseney Lake. From the bivouac, the path leads to the Terray Pass (2775 m) and back down to the Cunéy mountain hut (2652 m), near the sanctuary of the Madonna delle Nevi.  Go up to the Chaléby Pass (2653 m) and walk to the Rosaire-Clermont bivouac (2700 m). Continue on up to the Vessonaz Pass (2793 m), then down to Closé (1456 m). Go through the village, then head towards the Breuson Pass (2492 m). From there, continue on towards Ollomont (1385 m) and the neighbourhood of Rey.
