Description of the route

Arcésaz is the first hamlet of Brusson that you find on the regional road coming from Verrès.
The proposed itinerary starts from the trim trail in Guillates, a small hamlet in the municipality of Brusson, opposite the large stable.
Follow the CVA irrigation channel and descend on a farm track to the former Plan de Servaz forest nursery, then turn right and follow the path until you reach the village of Ponteil.
Cross the paved road and continue along the old irrigation channel ru d’Arlaz (following the sign “Croix D’Arlaz”) to the village of Arcésaz (1240 m).
From Arcésaz - always following the irrigation channel - cross the municipalities of Challand-Saint-Anselme and Challand-Saint-Victor and you’ll reach the Col d’Arlaz.
