Description of the route
From Niel (which is reached following the directions from Gaby square) take the mule track that crosses the village of Gruba and head right among the meadows into the woods. After a series of bends you come to a clearing where the path divides. Ignore the branch on the right which leads to Col Chapparelle and continues to the left on the woods, which becomes less dense. Follow the mule track, and after a farmhouse, you come to Col Piccola Mologna (2205 m).
In this past, this was a passage of communication between the valley of Gressoney and the Biella region.
